Our hospital is specialised in geriatric and neurologic rehabilitation, operating 152 beds and taking care of approx. 2,000 patients every year. With a highly skilled team of professionals from different healthcare disciplines, we aim to enable our patients to return to an independent life as much as possible. Throughout the day, it is our nurses who engage constantly with our patients to perform activating and therapeutic activities based on the assessment of each patient’s current abilities and individually set targets. We are convinced that professional nursing supports rehabilitation and that patients must be enabled to do whatever they can themselves. To us, all nursing follows the patients’ individual targets.
The city of Telgte (www.telgte.de) was founded almost 1,200 years ago and is amongst the most well-known pilgrimage sites in Germany. The beautiful city centre between the river Ems and Mary’s Chapel is surrounded by the green plains of the Münsterland where cycling is highly popular. The city of Münster with its universities and the city of Warendorf are in easy reach by public transport, or bike. Klinik Maria Frieden is located within walking and cycling distance just outside the city in an area of green meadows and farms.
